SHARE data are used in interdisciplinary research by scientists all over the world. Since the study includes demographic, social, economic, health-related, psychological, and medical variables, it provides data for researchers from a wide range of disciplines, from social scientists to medical researchers. This interdisciplinary approach shall ensure a comprehensive analysis of the ageing process and its consequences from as many angles as possible.
