The ILO in the 21st Century: Conference Report Online
The report on the symposium "Challenges to the ILO in the 21st Century: On the Future Role of a 100 Years Old Organisation" is now available for download (see below). On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the International Labour Organization, scientists and experts from Germany and abroad discussed at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy the challenges and expectations facing the organization. In particular, they looked at how the ILO deals with changes in industrial relations resulting from digitisation, the rise of the platform economy and atypical forms of employment. Central topics of the symposium were also the guarantee of social rights of migrants and the influence of the ILO on national law.
