EU Refugee-Protection as Patchwork
Thousands upon thousands of people hope they will find a more secure and better life when they have to leave their homes and make their way to the European Union. However, a recent comparative study by the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy shows that their protective rights vary significantly. This is because benefits and allowances, as well as access to medical care, are organized differently within individual member states. The results will be published soon.
